(III.11.) our main celebration event of World Water Day, which was planned to be held on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 11 am by the South-Transdanubian Water Management Directorate in the Celebration Hall – Municipality of Barcs is cancelled.
On the basis of mutual decision made by the organizers - the South-Transdanubian Water Management Directorate, the Hungarian Hydrological Society’s Territorial Organizations of County Baranya and Somogy, Municipality of Barcs - Exhibition vernissage in Drava Museum Barcs will be opened in private, only in the presence of the representatives of the press and media at previously announced times (on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 9 am and 9.30 am). The winners will receive their prizes by post, through schools and kindergartens in addition to the short film and photographs about the exhibition vernissage.
Professional presentations for World Water Day, focusing on the theme "Water and Climate Change" will be available in digital format on our website (www.ddvizig.hu) and on our official facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ddvizig/) following the event week in addition to the materials about the exhibition vernissage.
