Projects

In recent years, not just on a theoretical scale, but in reality, the importance of projects and efforts  connected to rivers and protecting those who live alongside them have grown to a great deal. Their aim is to protect and conserve nature, natural habitats and the quality of our water, and also to raise the safety level of people living near larger bodies of surface water. These projects are at times of great scale economically and architecturally. Our authority has acted as an implementer in a number of such projects.

The projects currently under development by the Directorate are both for safety and environmental rehabilitation.
